This past year has featured a variety of graduate events, including a FIJI Basketball Suite Night, a memorable and well attended Pig Dinner and our best FIJI Homecoming yet!
We dedicated this year’s Pig Dinner to our late brother Doug Peters. This was also the first Pig Dinner for the new undergraduate chapter. Each of the undergraduates received a $1,500 scholarship for the fall semester in Doug’s name.
The dinner was held at The Hall CP behind The Hotel at the University of Maryland which proved to be a fantastic location! Looking forward to more great Pig Dinners there!
We had our best FIJI Homecoming Tailgate yet complete with a massive tent, wide screen TV, food from Mission Barbecue & Chick-fil-A, fresh squeezed Crushes by our fabulous bartenders, Music, Cornhole & other tailgate games! We had a huge turnout with grads from all eras and their families. The undergrads used this as a recruiting event and had a large number of guests in attendance. And, oh yeah, Maryland pulled off a 4th quarter comeback win over USC. It was a fantastic day with great weather and good friends!
